I’m Stepping Out

Biden stepping aside leaves me completely at a loss for reasons other than you might think. He has emphasized over and over that he is the one that can win in November. His party has backed him unequivocally, despite evidence supporting the need for intervention. But the truth is out! There is no putting the Jeanie back in the bottle this time. Our country has been run by a man with diminished capacity to appease the heads of his party…a party that claims to hold him in the highest regard and love him.

Good news for Biden, however. Without having to prove it – he will go down as having been right about being the only one that can defeat Donald Trump. Kamala Harris will not win in November. Biden will then take the “I told you so” stage forever more.

Several questions remain:  Why would Kamala Harris be the pick if not to hang on to the monies donated to the campaign? From where I am sitting, that could be the only reason. So, access to the campaign donations is now going to dictate who the Democratic candidate is – not the primary! And, if another is substituted at the convention, they will have effectively pulled off an end run around their own people. Nice.

If I may say so, this is a real cluster! Your VP, now potential Presidential candidate for 2024 has a record of being in the VP position for three and a half years and failing to deliver on her assignments, the most important of which was the border – a place she NEVER went to. What other job in the United States would allow that?

This is not a persecution of Kamala Harris. Rather, it is a spotlight on the Democratic party. Regardless of who takes the seat every four years, the object of the campaign is not to merely win the election. It is to conduct the mission of serving, protecting, and defending the United States AND its Constitution. Well, as far as the Democratic party is concerned – the party is over.

Donald Trump did not make the Democratic party look bad. They did that all by themselves.
