Tonight at 8:00 pm EST a pre-recorded interview of Joe Biden with George Stephanopoulos will aire. This is to be the response to all the scuttlebutt regarding Biden’s lackluster performance in the Presidential debate held last week.
Joe Biden campaigned in Wisconsin today after which he met with Stephanopoulos; mid-day.
Can you say Sundowning? I cannot stress the significance of this enough!!!
The term “sundowning” refers to a state of confusion that occurs in the late afternoon and lasts into the night. Sundowning can cause various behaviors, such as confusion, anxiety, aggression or ignoring directions. Sundowning also can lead to pacing or wandering. (MayoClinic.org, 2024)
Let me also remind you, the Presidential debate was live at 9:00 pm. In the case of dementia, you should see a significant difference in his demeanor and performance between these two events.
Let me also say, this in no way erases what we all saw and heard the night of the debate. If anything – it will reinforce it.
Someone in the counseling field told me once: If one person tells you you’re an elephant, you can ignore them. If two tell you, you can argue that you are not. But when that third person tells you – you’d be wise to start looking for somewhere to stick that trunk!
